As a world-renowned leader and pioneer in skin health, our board-certified master dermatologist, Dr. Zein Obagi, has dedicated 30+ years of his career to skin care. He has treated men and women with common skin problems and even the most challenging skin conditions with his experience, innovative techniques, quality products, and more. His mission has been to give his patients — not only confidence — but a better quality of life. With three decades of clinical experience, Dr. Obagi established the ZO Skin Centre® with revolutionary skin care treatments and the ZO® Skin Health line of products that use cutting-edge technologies and ingredients to dramatically advance the health and condition of the skin. His unique ZO® Skin Health Circle™ is intended to work with each skin tone and type so all patients can obtain healthy, luminous skin with his therapeutic approaches, maintenance protocols, and prevention strategies.

It is no secret that Dr. Obagi wants all of his patients of all ages and ethnicities to enjoy beautiful, healthy skin that gives them more confidence. Throughout his life-long career, Dr. Obagi has continued to seek out new techniques, more advanced technologies, and more effective formulas for his skin care lines. He has fine-tuned the science of skin care through these special skills and research. Dr. Obagi authored the book, The Art of Skin Health Restoration and Rejuvenation: The Science of Clinical Practice, a medical textbook on skin health. He currently holds five U.S. patents for skin repairing devices and techniques. Dr. Obagi's line of products includes ZO® Skin Health for daily skin care and ZO® Medical for prescription and in-office skin care.

Education and Training

After earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from Damascus Medical School, Dr. Obagi fulfilled his internship requirements at Deaconess Hospital in Detroit, MI. Then, he was accepted into a residency in pathology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. While Dr. Obagi was a United States Navy Medical Officer serving in Honolulu, HI, he finished a dermatology residency at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA. He was also a staff dermatologist in Long Beach, CA.

I contacted Kristy at ZO Skin Centre in Newport Beach who was very helpful and was able to set up a virtual consultation with Dr. Obagi since I live in Texas. The consult went great and he placed me on a new skin regime to help diminish my dark spots and make my skin look brighter and younger!  The products shipped quickly and I was able to start the following week. I am SO excited and love the products! Kristy and the other staff have gone above and beyond and even called afterwards to make sure I’m doing okay. "I have been coming to ZO Skin Center for well over 10+ years and they have literally changed my life, my confidence, and my skin.Ninka has been my esthetician and I will NOT allow anyone else touch my face/skin. I drive about 5 hours round trip every couple months just to come in and see her for a treatment. She has done facial and back facials for me. I was having some issues with some irritated skin on my back and saw a local dermatologist who put me on prescription washes and creams and it never got better. Saw Ninka once with a back facial and it cleared up immediately. Was 90% better before I even got home. Her facials are one of the most relaxing experiences I have ever had. I walk out of there feeling refreshed, skin clean, and glowing. I see and feel results immediately and they last for weeks. The Obagi Serums are able to work that much better with more results after Ninka’s facials.I get compliments about my skin often, even from other doctors. I do not get anything done, such as botox either and I am 42yrs old. I have tried other estheticians more local to me and other skin lines and will NEVER again use anything else on my skin. She is 100000% worth the time, the drive, and energy fighting traffic. She is very thorough, takes her time,  listens to you and your needs. She takes the time to look over your skin and suggest the best treatments. I cannot rave enough about her and if you do not see her, you’re doing a disservice to yourself coupled with the Obagi products. You for sure will be pleased with the results.Also, Dr. Mowlds is wonderful. He is not aggressive with pushing procedures and takes the time to make sure your individual skin needs are met. The ladies in the front are very kind and sweet as well, especially Holly who always takes care of orders, appointments, responds to messages immediately, and is very knowledgeable with the products. Again, I drive very far, but will NOT allow anyone else to touch y face/skin. Thank you to Ninka, Dr. Mowlds, Holly and the rest of the staff for always making my experience a pleasant one and making me feel more confident in my skin! 10 stars if that was an option! =)"
